Loulou stands to lose a million
Blue macaw
Loulou went missing from an aviary in Scotland
Britain's richest bird has flown the coop and left behind a fortune in a millionaire businesswoman's will.

Loulou the blue macaw is missing and her devastated owner Diane Miller is anxious to get her back.

Miss Miller, owner of an advertising agency in Northumberland, is now desperately seeking the blue pet's return after it disappeared from an aviary in Scotland.

But despite a £3,000 reward for the bird's safe return, all efforts have failed.

Miss Miller said: "I was so upset and I'm still devastated about it. Loulou was just like a child to me."

The missing macaw was last seen near Gretna Green, talking and squawking to passers-by.

The Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) have been notified of Loulou's disappearance.
