Toilet sale on a roll
Estate agent Gordon Cockfield outside the toilets
The building has views of the Dorset coast
A derelict beach-side public toilet block is at the centre of a bidding war.

The property went on the market a fortnight ago for £25,000 but early bids have already pushed the price up.

The 140-square-feet former ladies and gents overlooks the heritage coast at Charmouth on the Dorset-Devon border.

Potential buyers have been queuing up to see the building which has planning permission for conversion into a chalet.

Inside the £30,000 toilet
The toilets have been taken out
Roy Wootton, of Martin Diplock Estate Agents, which is handling the sale, said: "We have had several offers already, which are now rising above £30,000.

"The views are super, with Golden Cap cliff to the left, the sea and beach to the front, and Lyme Regis to the right."

The single-storey outhouse is privately owned and comes with a 10-feet strip of land.

The toilets have been removed from inside the building leaving just a shell.

Even so, Mr Wootton said: "It has caused quite a stir since it came on the market."
