In pictures: Jubilee finale
The Mall leading to Buckingham Palace was the scene of a fabulous pageant watched by one million people.
Then a spectacular flypast wowed the crowds as the Royal Family waved from the palace balcony.
An estimated one million people lined the streets
Concorde led the Red Arrows in the climax
The Royals enjoyed a great view of the flypast
Earlier, The Mall was a riot of colour from the carnival
Members of the Royal Family enjoyed the parade
The Notting Hill Carnival led the four-hour parade
Luckily the rain held off for the Mall procession
Golden buses symbolised the changes to British life
A Hindu group of Scottish bagpipers entertained
