Beauty products retailer The Body Shop has posted a 40% jump in full-year profits, and announced a £100m expansion programme.
The company said the expansion would "significantly expand our operations, open new channels and install new infrastructure."
Profits for 2003 were £29m, rising despite flat overall sales of £700m.
In its core UK market, like-for-like sales fell as much as 13%, but margins rose sharply.
