Capita, the operator of London's traffic congestion charge fee, has said it is pleased with trading so far this year and cash generation is "strong".
The outsourcing specialist operates services range from debt collection to
back-office administration.
The firm said it had won £615m ($1.06bn) worth of new work and contract extensions in 2003 and was working on bids worth another £2.4bn.
Capita also operates services for the BBC and Criminal Records Bureau.
Capita operates call centres and checks number plates captured on camera in central London, to ensure motorists have paid to enter the congestion-charge part of the city.
A company statement said: "Our markets in both the public and private sectors continue to exhibit good momentum."
